Lynn and Lorena and Family
A Grand Junction Family. A Grand Junction Tradition.
Locally owned and lovingly run since 2009.
Angelo’s Pottery Studio was born from a simple idea — create a place where families could come together, slow down, and make something beautiful.
Lynn and Lorena Thompson opened our doors in 2009, and over the past 15+ years, this studio has become so much more than a business. It’s a gathering place. A creative refuge. A little corner of Grand Junction where people of all ages and abilities can walk in, get their hands a little messy, and leave with something they’re proud of.
Over the years, each of the Thompson children grew up in these walls — and now they have families of their own who continue to share in the tradition. Angelo’s truly is a family affair, and you can feel it the moment you walk through the door.
The People Who Make the Magic Happen
Our staff — honestly, our second family — are the heart of this studio. They’re creative, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making your experience wonderful.
Taren and Sarai — Professional wheel artists and the calm, skilled hands behind our pottery wheel sessions. You’ll find them in the studio most mornings and early afternoons.
Kylie, Tatum, Ivy, Ava, Jude, and Sylvia — Our weekend and evening crew. They’re here to help, encourage, and make sure every guest has an amazing time from the first brushstroke to the last.
Lyndsay — The creative force behind our events and social media. If something exciting is happening at Angelo’s, Lyndsay made it happen.
