Week 3: Groovy Creations

Day 1: Ages 7 and Up

You will leave our camps this week with colorful pieces that are sure to make you feel GROOVY every time you use them!  You will use new painting techniques to create this flower bowl, and you will hand build a yin-yang box from clay. If time permits, we will paint the boxes during the camp. If not, kids can return to paint the boxes in a second session. Pizza and a drink are included in the class!

• Everything’s Blooming

Today we are going to make a small flower bowl to keep us in the daisy year round.  If you don’t like yellow daisies, yours can be purple or any other color that you love, maybe many different colors!

• Yin Yang Is My Thang

Today we will create a multi-colored yin/yang box.   This box will be fired later to be painted in a couple of weeks.  Keep your treasures safe.

Day 2: Ages 7 and Up

• Dealing in Rainbows  

Today we will be creating the pieces for a stoneware wind chime  These will be chosen and cut and you can come back and paint them in a couple of weeks.

• Lighting Up the Jellies (canvas)

This adorable jelly fish canvas looks completely different when under a black light.  It is adorable during the day and glowingly cool in the dark.   (Black light is not included.)

This camp will include a pizza and drink at lunch time.

Our camps may have other small projects over the course of the camp,  Deposits are transferable to other camps, but they are not refundable. The remainder of the charge wil l    be collected on the day of the camp. Taxes are added on at the time of checkout.  If you have difficulty booking this camp, please contact the studio directly.
